MODEL RELEASE AND CONSENT TO RECORDING
Dress It — dressitnow.com
I, the person signing below, agree to the following with Dress It — dressitnow.com ("Producer"), creator of the Dress It app and website dressitnow.com ("Dress It"):
1. RECORDING. I give Producer permission to film, photograph and record me, and to record and use my name, image, likeness, voice and statements ("My Appearance") in photos, videos and audio made during this interview (the "Content").
2. USE — INCLUDING COMMERCIAL USE. I give Producer, and anyone Producer authorizes, the right to use, copy, edit, publish and distribute the Content and My Appearance, in whole or in part:
(a) on social media and video platforms, including YouTube, Instagram and TikTok; and
(b) to advertise and promote Dress It (the app and the website dressitnow.com), in any media.
The Content may be monetized (ads, sponsorships, donations).
3. SCOPE. This permission is worldwide, perpetual (no time limit), irrevocable (I cannot take it back), transferable and royalty-free.
4. COMPENSATION. I acknowledge receipt of the compensation stated below, which I accept as full payment for the rights granted here.
5. NO APPROVAL. I have no right to review or approve the Content before publication, and Producer may edit it. Producer is not obligated to use the Content.
6. WAIVER AND RELEASE. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release Producer and Dress It from any claims arising from the uses allowed by this release, including claims under my right of publicity or privacy (including California Civil Code §3344), and claims for defamation or false light. I do not release claims that the law does not allow me to waive.
7. MY CONFIRMATIONS. I confirm that:
(a) I am 18 years of age or older;
(b) I have the full right and authority to sign this release, and no employer, agency or other third party controls the use of My Appearance;
(c) I have read this release (or had it read to me), I understand it, and I sign it voluntarily.
8. GOVERNING LAW. This release is governed by the laws of the State of California.
